Board Governance

As a member-owned cooperative, ACU is governed by a Board of Directors that is responsible for guiding the general direction of the credit union’s best interests of membership and in compliance with ACU bylaws. We are proud to have this group of valued professionals dedicate their time to serve ACU and our members.

Supervisory Committee

The Board has established a Supervisory Committee to assist the Board in fulfilling its responsibilities for overseeing the internal and external audit program of the credit union. The primary duties of the Committee are to:
• Monitor the integrity of the credit union’s financial reporting process and systems of internal controls regarding finance, accounting and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor the independence and performance of the credit union’s independent auditors and the internal audit department.
• Provide an avenue of communication among the independent auditors, management, the internal audit department and the Board.
