$15 Per Card

A one-time $15 customization fee is deducted from your linked ACU checking account. Business accounts are not eligible.

10 to 14 Business Days

After your image is approved within 24 hours of submission, your card is printed and mailed via USPS. Allow 10 to 14 business days from approval.

Your Image, Approved Within 24 Hours

Submit your design online. ACU reviews it within 24 hours and sends email confirmation. Your new card will have a different expiration date and CVV from your current card.

ACU reviews every submitted image before printing. Review these guidelines before uploading to avoid delays.

How to Order

Three Steps to Your Custom Card

The entire process happens online through the ACU card portal using your existing online banking login.

Upload Your Image

Visit the ACU custom card portal, log in with your online banking credentials, and upload your photo. Review the image guidelines before submitting.

Wait for Approval

ACU reviews your image within 24 hours and sends you an email confirmation. If your image does not meet guidelines, you will be notified and can resubmit.

Receive Your Card

Your custom card is printed and mailed via USPS. Allow 10 to 14 business days from approval. Destroy your old card when the new one arrives.

Custom Debit Card FAQ

Answers to the questions members ask most about ordering a personalized ACU Visa debit card.

Any ACU member with a personal checking account in good standing is eligible. Business accounts are not eligible for custom card designs at this time.
The customization fee is $15 per card occurrence. This is deducted from your linked ACU checking account. There is no recurring annual fee for the custom design.
ACU reviews your image within 24 hours of submission. After approval, allow 10 to 14 business days for printing and delivery via USPS.
Your custom card will have a different expiration date and CVV code from your current card. Update any saved payment methods such as subscriptions and online stores after your new card arrives.
Call ACU at 253-964-3113 immediately to report the card. A standard replacement card will be issued while a new custom card is printed. The $15 customization fee applies to replacement custom cards.
ACU does not approve images that include copyrighted material, trademarked logos, celebrity likenesses, political symbols, nudity, violence, firearms, profanity, discriminatory content, alcohol or tobacco imagery, religious opinions, or any contact information or URLs. Submitted images that violate these guidelines will not be approved and you will be notified by email.

Custom debit card designs are subject to ACU image review and approval. ACU reserves the right to reject any image that does not meet content guidelines. The $15 customization fee is non-refundable once an order is placed. Custom cards are issued as Visa debit cards under the same terms as standard ACU debit cards. America's Credit Union is federally insured by the NCUA up to $250,000 per depositor. NMLS 449181.
