A Day on the Course That Changes Lives Off It

Since 2000, America's Credit Union has hosted the Turkey Shoot at Eagle's Pride Golf Course on Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Every dollar raised goes to the ACU Foundation, which supports local service members and their families during the holidays and throughout the year.

This is the 26th Turkey Shoot, and together our players and sponsors have raised more than $650,000 for the JBLM community. If you have played, sponsored, or donated a raffle prize over the years, that number is yours too.

  • 4-person scramble with on-course contests and games

Why Play in November

Fair question. November golf at JBLM means layers, rain gear, and at least one shot you will blame on the wind. We keep the date anyway. The Turkey Shoot has always kicked off the holiday season for the ACU Foundation, so families have support when they need it most. Dress warm, bring a towel, and know that every soggy fairway is funding something that matters.

Holiday Kickoff

The Turkey Shoot has always kicked off the holiday season for the ACU Foundation, so families have support when they need it most. Timing matters when the goal is to help before the holidays arrive.

Worth the Weather

Layers, rain gear, and at least one shot you will blame on the wind. The field has filled every year for 26 years running, because the people who play know the mission is bigger than the forecast.

26 Years of Tradition

Since 2000, the November date has become part of the Turkey Shoot identity. Rain or shine, the South Sound community shows up year after year because every soggy fairway is funding something that matters.
