Lock In 3.75% APY With Our 12-Month Share Certificate Special

October 5, 2026

Rates on savings come and go. A share certificate lets you stop guessing. Through November 2026, America's Credit Union is offering a 12-month share certificate that earns 3.75% APY* when you open it with $500 or more in new money.

What you get

  • 3.75% APY* for 12 months. Your rate is locked the day you open, even if rates fall.
  • $500 to open. Start with $500 or more in new money from outside ACU.
  • Federally insured. Your savings are insured by the NCUA up to $250,000 per ownership category.

What 3.75% APY looks like

A $10,000 deposit grows to $10,375 over the 12-month term when dividends stay on deposit and there are no withdrawals.† The number you see the day you open is the number you earn.

What counts as new money

New money is money that is not already on deposit at ACU, such as funds you transfer from another bank or credit union. Balances already in any ACU account or share, including savings, checking, money market, and existing share certificates, do not qualify.

Want a longer term?

Members ready to deposit $5,000 or more can also lock in 3.75% APY* for 18 months, or 3.35% APY* for 36 months, up to $250,000 per member account.

How to open yours

  1. Become a member, or skip ahead if you already are.
  2. Bring $500 or more in new money.
  3. Open your certificate online or at any ACU branch through November 2026.

See every term and rate on our Share Certificates page, or become a member and fund your certificate at the same time.

*APY = Annual Percentage Yield. APY accurate as of October 1, 2026 and subject to change. 12-month certificate: $500 minimum to open and to earn the APY; rate fixed for the term, then renews at the then-current standard rate. New money only. 18-month and 36-month promotional certificates require a minimum deposit of $5,000, with a maximum of $250,000 per member account. APY assumes dividends remain on deposit until maturity. A penalty of up to 90 days of dividends may be imposed for early withdrawal. Fees could reduce earnings. Membership eligibility required. Federally insured by NCUA.

†Earnings example assumes a $10,000 deposit held for the full 12-month term with dividends left on deposit and no withdrawals.
