Bill Pay Moves to a New Provider on August 25
July 21, 2026
On August 25, 2026, Bill Pay in Online Banking moves to a new service provider. Most payees and scheduled payments will carry over automatically, but a few minutes of review now is the best way to keep your payments on schedule and avoid future headaches.
Before August 25
Sign in to Online Banking and check that the following Bill Pay information is current:
- Payee names and mailing addresses
- Account numbers for each payee
- Your scheduled and recurring payments
If you have a payment scheduled between August 21 and August 25, schedule it to arrive by August 20 or earlier so it isn’t delayed by the transition.
Two payment types are moving out of Bill Pay
Payments between people and transfers to your accounts at other financial institutions will no longer be available in Bill Pay, and any you have scheduled there will not carry over after the transition.
Both actions can still be taken in Online Banking:
- To send money to people, use Zelle.
- To move money between your accounts, use the transfer option in online or mobile banking.
If you use Bill Pay for either of these today, be sure to set those transactions up again in their new respective homes before August 25.
After August 25
Sign in to Online Banking and confirm your payees and scheduled payments transferred correctly. In a small number of cases, a payment may need to be set up again.
